During the 21st Conference of Association of sea commercial ports (АSCP) in St. Petersburg, the results of competition for the best stevedore company of Russia have been announced. The purpose of the given competition is to define the Russian stevedore companies which achieve the best results of efficiency of work as well as to make their experience accessible to others.

The winner of competition on Northwest basin became "Kaliningrad sea commercial port" JSC. On results of 2007 the Kaliningrad sea commercial port has shown good dynamics of growth of cargo turnover (+20,6 %). The volume of dry cargoes handling in comparison with the last year has increased at 47 %, the investments into manufacture have made 146,6 million rbl., 144 wagons have been processed daily, that 11 % more than the same period of 2006.

For an active role in the activity of Association the General Director of "KSCP" JSC Vladimir Kalinichenko is awarded with the Reward "The Honorable member of Association of sea commercial ports".
